Bulk Billing through Medicare:

Our commitment to making dental care accessible led us to offer bulk billed services through Medicare. This means that eligible patients can enjoy our exceptional dental hygiene services without the financial stress.

If you have children eligible for the Medicare program, called Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) then our therapist will bulk bill you, this means you do not need to pay for your child’s dental care treatment.

The payments are only available to families who are already receiving other government benefits.

What is the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)?

The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) gives eligible children and teenagers access to up to $1,000 in benefits for dental services over two calendar years. Children and teenagers are eligible for the CDBS if:

• The child is under the age of 18.
• The child is eligible for Medicare.
• The child or family receives one of the following Australian Government payments:
• Youth Allowance
• Family Tax Benefit Part A.
• Disability Support Pension
• Parenting Payments
• Special Benefit
• Carer Payments
• Double Orphan Pension

You don’t need to register your child for the CDBS.

Families and teenagers will be advised by Medicare if they are eligible. You can check your child’s eligibility and CDBS balance through your
Medicare online account at my.gov.au or by calling Medicare on 132 011.

A range of services can be provided under the CDBS including:
• Examinations
• X-rays
• Cleaning
• Fissure sealing
• Fillings
• Root canals and extractions.
